1. Preparation For Frying The Chicken:

Step 1

To make restaurant-style Chicken Chilli recipe, first take (500 gms boneless chicken) and cut it into small pieces.

When all the chicken is cut into small pieces, put all the chicken in a bowl and add some ingredients to it.

  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1 Egg white
  • 3 Tablespoons corn flour

Now mix all the ingredients well with the chicken, and leave it to rest for 10 minutes.

Step 3

After 10 minutes, heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, slowly add the chicken to the hot oil and fry the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.

Step 4

As soon as the chicken is fried, take out all the chicken and place it in a large sieve so that the excess oil drains out from the chicken.

2. Preparation Of Green Chilli Paste

Step 1

To make green chilli paste, take (10 hot green chillies) in a mixer grinder and add (50 ml water) along with it and then close the lid of the mixer grinder.

Step 2

Now make a fine paste of green chillies.

3. Preparation For Making Sauce For Chicken Chilli Recipe

Step 1

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add some ingredients to it.

  • 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup garlic (chopped)
  • 1 inch ginger (chopped)
  • 15 hot green chillies (slit in the middle)
  • 1 tbsp coriander stalks (chopped)

Now mix everything well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 2

After everything is cooked well for 1 to 2 minutes, now add (100 grams hot water) into it and cook for another 1 minute on high flame.

Step 3

After a minute, add some ingredients to it.

  • 2-3 tablespoons hot green chilli paste
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce (for color)
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • A pinch of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of white pepper powder

Now mix all the ingredients well and cook on high flame for 1 more minute, after that our sauce is completely cooked and ready.

Step 4

Now add some vegetables to the sauce and mix.

  • 1 medium sized capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 medium sized onion (petals)
  • 2 tbsp spring onion leaves
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander roughly chopped

Step 5

When all the vegetables are mixed in the sauce, add 100 grams of hot water into it and cook it for another 2 minutes.

Step 6

Now take 1 tablespoon corn flour in a cup, add 2 tablespoons water to it and mix it well.

Step 7

Now add this corn flour water to the chilli chicken and mix everything well and cook it all on high flame for 2 minutes.

Step 8

Now our chicken chilli recipe is completely ready. Now finally you have to check the salt in it, if you feel that the salt is less then you can add salt according to your requirement. And to garnish the chicken chilli, you can add some green onion leaves and some fresh coriander leaves, after this mix everything well and turn off the gas.

  • Ingredients for the sauce:

  • 1/4 cup garlic (chopped)
  • 1 inch ginger (chopped)
  • 15 green chillies (slit in the centre)
  • 1 tbsp coriander stalks (chopped)
  • 100 ml hot water
  • 3 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 2 tbsp light soya sauce
  • 2 tsp dark soya sauce (for colour)
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 pinch salt and white pepper powder
  • Vegetables:
  • 1 capsicum (medium size chopped)
  • 1 onion (medium size petals)
  • 2 tbsp spring onion leaves
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander (roughly chopped)
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp water (for batter)
