1. PREPARING TO MAKE BARISTA:
Step 1
To begin making the Chicken Korma recipe, first take (350 grams onion) and cut the onion into thin, long and round shapes.

After this, heat 1 cup oil or as per your requirement in a pan, once the oil is hot, put all the onions in it. Now stir all the onions well in the oil and fry them on medium flame till they become golden brown.

2. Preparation of Whole Spices Powder:
Step 1
To make whole spice powder, add some whole spices in a mixer grinder.
- 1 big black cardamom
- 5 green cardamoms
- 1/2 inch cinnamon
- A very small piece of nutmeg
- 1/2 mace
These spices will add aroma and flavour to our korma, so we will powder these spices and add them to the korma.
Step 2
Now make a fine powder of all the spices, this is how you have to make the powder and now our masala powder is also completely ready, now let’s know further about making Korma.
3. Preparation for making Korma and Gravy:
Step 1
Now take 1 kg chicken in the vessel in which you are going to make korma and now beat (400 grams curd) once and add it to the chicken.
Step 2
Now add some powdered spices over the chicken and curd.
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 2 tbsp degi mirch
- 1 tbsp spicy red chilli powder
- 4-5 green cardamoms
- 7-8 cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
Apart from all this, you also have to add the oil in which we fried the onions, i.e. the birista oil which was left over while frying the onions. You have to add at least 3 ladles of birista oil.
Step 3
Now you have to cook the chicken on high flame for 7 to 8 minutes while stirring continuously. After 7 to 8 minutes you will see that water will start coming out of the chicken.
Step 4
When water starts coming out of the chicken and curd, you have to put a lid on the vessel and let it cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
Step 5
After the chicken is cooked for 4 to 5 minutes, take out the chicken by filtering it and keep it aside in another vessel and now prepare to make the gravy.
Step 6
Now add the onion birista in the same spices in which we cooked the chicken.
Step 7
Now add 1 tablespoon coriander powder and cook it while stirring it for at least 20 to 25 minutes. After 20 to 25 minutes you will see that grains will start forming in the gravy, due to which the texture of the gravy will look perfect. If you feel that there is a need to add water to the gravy, then you can add hot water as per your requirement.
Step 8
After cooking the gravy well for 20 to 25 minutes, now add chicken to it

Now mix all the chicken well in the gravy and wait till the gravy comes to a boil. When the gravy starts to boil, cover it with a lid and let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes so that the rawness of the chicken goes away completely and the chicken gets cooked well.
Step 10
After cooking the chicken for 6 to 7 minutes, now at last you have to add the spice powder, from which we had prepared the powder of whole spices and also add 1 spoon of kewda water.
Step 11
